Meet Clint, Our Templator
Clint plays a crucial role in bringing your vision to life. As our templator, he ensures that every measurement is accurate, setting the foundation for your beautiful countertops. Fun facts about Clint: he loves outdoor adventures and is always up for a good camping trip. With a keen eye for detail, he makes sure your countertops will fit perfectly, allowing our Shop Team to create a piece that enhances your home.
Meet Matt, Our Installer
Next up is Matt, our lead installer. With nearly 13 years of experience in countertop installation, Matt has earned a reputation for his friendly attitude and exceptional attention to detail. He takes pride in ensuring every installation goes smoothly and that each customer is completely satisfied with their new countertops. Fun fact about Matt: he is passionate about DIY projects and loves spending weekends working on his home, always looking for ways to improve his space.
Step 1: Choosing Your Material
The process begins with you, the customer, deciding on the best material for your project. Whether you’re leaning toward the natural beauty of granite or the sleek modern look of quartz (check out our blog on Granite vs. Quartz for more insights), selecting the right material sets the stage for your new countertops. Once you’ve chosen your material and color, it’s time to move forward to Templating.
Step 2: Measuring and Templating
After you sign the proposal and pay the material deposit, Clint will visit your home to take precise measurements of the cabinets where your new countertop will sit. Using advanced techniques, he ensures that every detail is accounted for. He then returns to our shop to create a detailed cut sheet. This sheet serves as a blueprint for our shop, guiding them as they transform your raw stone into a stunning masterpiece tailored to your space.
Step 3: Installation Day
Once your countertop has been meticulously crafted, it’s time for installation. Matt and his helper will arrive at your home ready to bring your vision to life. They will first review the installation process with you, ensuring you’re comfortable with each step.
Before getting started, our team will take pictures of the space and prepare it for the installation. They will carefully bring in your countertop and secure it to your cabinets. While most pieces slide into place effortlessly, there may be a need for small adjustments on-site to ensure a perfect fit. If your countertop requires a seam, our installers will skillfully set it and pull it together, showcasing their expertise in real-time.
Step 4: The Finishing Touches
We believe in leaving your home as clean, if not cleaner, than we found it. After the installation is complete, our team will tidy up the area and take a few more pictures of the finished work. They will then ensure you are completely satisfied with your new countertops, addressing any questions or concerns you may have.
